Project Summary:
The design of phase one started with our help in the choice of the 6000m2 site, which commands a beautiful view that overlooks the town of Fuhais, North West of Amman, and the green tree covered countryside of Al Hummar.
The layout of the plan takes into consideration an orientation intended to capture the views from key points in the villa. The steep slope of the site was carefully managed and exploited, with proper location of the building and careful use of the hard-scape elements, to absorb the difference in levels avoiding high boundary retaining walls.
After the villa was completed in 2005, we were once again commissioned for a second phase which was to redesign the lower section of the garden of area 3,500m2. The extension was designed to accommodate a multifunctional hall, tennis court, terraces and walkway paths with hard and softscape designs between them and the main house.
