The 5-story building, encompassing a total built area of 5400 square meters, serves as a hub for scientific and educational endeavors. It features a simulation laboratory, a main conference hall with a seating capacity of 300 people, an information center, a research and studies section, offices, meeting rooms, and a library with reading rooms. These components symbolize the building's commitment to fostering a dynamic scientific and educational environment.
The architectural design of the building tastefully blends modernity with Amman's traditional environment. The utilization of stone and stucco in the treatment of architectural elements serves to accentuate the local identity of stone, while earth tones in the cladding materials resonate with the region's arid climate.
Furthermore, the building embodies principles of energy efficiency and climate responsiveness. It employs passive warming strategies for winter and cooling solutions for summer. The careful design of window openings mitigates overheating during the summer months while optimizing natural daylighting.
