We were commissioned by Mediterranean Industries to conduct a survey of historic sites in Old Amman. The aim was to identify suitable properties for the rehabilitation and renovation intended for use as the company's headquarters. After evaluating several locations, a property located just off Rainbow Street, behind Al-Safadi Mosque, was selected.
This site encompassed three aging buildings, constructed in 1890, 1932, and 1975, respectively. The project was executed between 1999 and 2001. Our design approach was centered on the concept of rehabilitation, integrating modern elements that harmonized with the historic structures rather than competing with them.
